Applicant web sites are evaluated on how well they meet the criteria shown below. In-fact, these are the same forms our evaluators use, and you may also use them for your own self-assessment. First, threre's a list a disqualification criteria because there are some things that would result in immediate disqualification in which case application of remaining criteria would be irrelevant.

Disqualification Criteria

Would the evaluation itself result in a situation, or does the site contain, glorify, endorse, promote, or link to content that is:

A conflict of interest such as an evaluator reviewing the site of a friend or family member
Discriminatory of others' adult age, gender, race, religion, veteran status, or handicap
Harmful containing malware, spyware, viruses, etc.
Illegal
Inaccessible through user login and we have not been provided free access
Non-translatable in a language beyond the scope of Google Translator
Owned or managed by someone other than the Applicant
Sexually explicit
Unambitious and lacking an area featuring awards won
Underaged being published by an author under the age of 16 years
Unfinished being under construction or otherwise incomplete
Unhealthy by promoting destruction, suffering, or hatred
Vulgar using foul language or excessive slang
Only sites that pass the disqualification criteria continue on for a full evaluation. We shall not grant awards to sites that are inconsistent with our purpose.

Evaluation Form

On a scale of 1-5 where 1 is "not well", 3 is "average", and 5 is "extremely well", how well does the site satisfy each evaluation criteria?

Interactive allowing users to modify settings and communicate
Indexable with unique HEAD TITLE's and META descriptions
Legible with correct grammar and spelling
Navigable, well-linked, and easy to get around
Popular being linked to by many other sites
Relevent to babies, pregnancy, names, or meanings
Uncluttered by excessive ads and other distractions
A total of 75 points are available. Sites scoring 30 or higher will win our award.
